Is it really day 19? Wow! That’s awesome! This morning I went to Crossroads church. I wiped down chairs, greeted guests, taught children hand motions to songs, and helped out during Sunday school. It was a lot of fun. Now, I am going to take a swim.
Tomorrow I will be heading out to Youth camp in Nairobi. I’ll be out of touch for about a week. Please pray for safety and for the youth to learn good lessons.

I think this is the "real" missionary part that Jim talked about last November. Nairobi is the rough part. Their slums are unlike anything you have already seen. Most kids are barefoot and food is very hard to come by. Nairobi could break your heart from all I've seen and heard. You will be just fine, though, because your have 'stepped out of the boat' and are following Jesus and bringing His love to the poorest of the poor.
